Sacrament Meeting
Dane Matthews talked about one night on trek reading his scriptures and receiving inspiration that the Book of Mormon is true.
Jacqui Bennion shared about her pioneer heritage She shared her scripture reading experiences and challenged us to read the Book of Mormon everyday as we have been counseled.
Ben Chase of the Stake High Council shared how everyone has different levels of faith. We all face trials. We need to allow the Book of Mormon to be a source of strength for us. There are promises if we read it daily.

There will be a Stake Youth Choir for our upcoming Stake Conference. Please encourage your young men to participate
The practices for this choir are:

Sunday, Feb. 18 8:30am *Stake Conference 10am*
The choir director is Makenna Hill of Paradise Valley Ward mmakennahill@gmail.com
The choir is for Young Men and Young Women combined.
**Participating in the choir provides a unique opportunity for the youth to "rub shoulders" with the visiting General Authority. Typically he candidly visits with these youth before the start of the conference, hence the 3rd practice at 8:30am.

PARADISE VALLEY STAKE CONFERENCE
Saturday, February 17 - Sunday, February 18, 2017
will preside at the Paradise Valley Stake Conference scheduled for February 17 - 18, 2017.
• Saturday, February 17th - Priesthood Leadership Session at 4:00 pm. Those who should attend include Stake Presidency, Bishoprics, High Council, Stake and Ward Clerks and Assistants, Stake and Ward Executive Secretaries, High Priest Group Leadership including Secretaries, Elders Quorum Presidencies including Secretaries, Stake and Ward Adult Young Men Leaders including Scout Leaders and Secretaries, Ward Mission Leaders, Stake and Ward Sunday School Presidencies including secretaries.
• Saturday Evening Adult Session at 7:00 pm for all adult members (18 years and older) and their invited guests.
• Sunday, February 18th General Session at 10:00 am for all members of the Stake and their invited guests.
MORMON PROM
The ticket link for Mormon Prom is now LIVE! Everyone who will be 16 years old by March 3rd and their friends are encouraged to attend! This will be a fantastic evening for the youth! Best to get tickets early!

MISSIONARY UPDATE
Jackson Gardner
He has received his mission called to serve in the Japan Tokyo Mission
Robert & Marilyn Llewellyn of the Shadow Mountain Ward have been called to serve in the Maryland Baltimore Mission. They will report to the MTC on April 16, 2018. They will serve for 18 months.
John and Carole Blood of the Desert Ridge Ward have been called to serve as Nauvoo Illinois Temple missionaries. They will begin their mission on April 27, 2018.
