Ben Driggs spoke about True Conversion

Ben shared thoughts from a message from
President Utchdorf

He began by sharing the parable of 2 sons and the vineyard.
Jesus shared a story of a father and his two sons. The father worked in a vineyard and asked his two sons to help. The first son said no at first but later came to help in the vineyard. The second son said that he would help, but then he never did. Jesus taught that the first son showed more love for his father by being obedient.
The Savior used this story to emphasize an important principle—it is those who obey the commandments who truly love God.

Our actions are much more important than the words we speak. True conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ and its values and principles will be witnessed by our actions in our daily lives.

George Muhn

has been called to serve in Teresina Brazil Mission

and reports to the Sao Paulo MTC on September 20th

George shared some thoughts from a talk given by Elder Carlos Godoy in the October 2014 General Conference.

The Lord Has a Plan for Us

If we continue to live as we are living, will the promised blessings be fulfilled?

All of us have experienced or will yet experience moments of great decision in our lives. Should I pursue this career or that one? Should I serve a mission? Is this the right person for me to marry?
These are situations in different areas of our lives in which a small change in direction can have significant future consequences. In the words of President Dieter F. Uchtdorf: “Through years of serving the Lord … , I have learned that the difference between happiness and misery in individuals, in marriages, and families often comes down to an error of only a few degrees” “A Matter of a Few Degrees,” Ensignor Liahona, May 2008, 58).
