Sacrament Meeting Minutes
Thank you to the choir for the beautiful rendition of "A Marvelous Work"
Kenzly Taylor shared her thoughts on the conference talk by Elder Holland, "Be Ye Therefore Perfect - Eventually" She reminded us that commandments that seems simple may be followed by one that is a little harder for each of us. In mortality, perfection is still pending. God is perfect and can grant us the mercy and grace that we need to progress toward His perfection. We just need to follow the admonition given in Moroni 10 to "Come unto Christ and be perfected in Him."
Matt Wulff reminded us to exercise our spiritual muscles. Just as we must work to be stronger physically we need to put our faith into action by studying the scriptures, bearing testimony of Christ and serving others to grow spiritually.
Elder Carsten Ellsworth shared his testimony as he prepares to leave this week for the MTC and his mission in Brazil. He shared how he prepared for his mission and that by setting a good example others will be able to see the positive in the church and want to learn more about the gospel. Helping others learn about Christ not only changes their life but ours as well.
