Mt. View Sunday Summary
Welcome new members: Katherine Neal, Robert Fields, Donald Thompson, Sheri Robertson, Stephanie O'Brien
Ward changes: Sustained as RS Activity Committee Member: Kenzly Taylor Sustained as RS Temple Trip Coordinator: Grace Galvanoni Sacrament Meeting Recap: Thank you to the ward choir for the beautiful rendition of Thanks for Simple Blessings. Katie Damron asked us what we have done to withstand the evils of the world and shared ideas on how to put on the armor of God so that we can progress and not regress in our path back to our Heavenly Father. Be humble and admit when you are wrong. Give service. Be prepared for the future by learning from the scriptures. Have faith. If something doesn't make sense put it on your spiritual shelf for future contemplation. Tina Ellsworth reminded us that there are spiritual crocodiles waiting everywhere to catch us unaware and that by knowing who Satan is and what he is capable of will allow us to be aware and beware of his tactics. We need to remember the heroes such as Moroni who was so perfect in his understanding that we were all like him Satan's chances of destroying our future would be severely limited. Using the Book of Mormon as a guide on how to fight our battles for righteousness is a way given to us that is specific to our times. Know your weaknesses and turn them into strengths by keeping the commandments, bearing your testimony and following the prophet. FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Personal Study
