Today's sacrament meeting topic was Tithes and Offerings

Choosing to live the law of tithing will be a great blessing throughout your life.
Malachi 3:10
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
Dane shared some experiences about the blessings he has received in his youth by paying tithing on money he has earned.

"Tithing is a principle that is fundamental to the personal happiness and well-being of the Church members worldwide, both rich and poor."
Paul shared the many experiences of how paying tithing had blessed their lives. How paying tithing has helped them to strive for a debt free life and live within their means. Paul shared his commitment of always paying tithing first has blessed his life.

What a wonderful opportunity to hear from our Bishop regarding caring for those around us by sharing our resources and giving of our time.
Bishop Jones encouraged us to live like our Savior as we help to lift the burdens of others
and making sure no one walks alone.
Remember, that "By Small and Simple Things Great Things Shall Come To Pass"
Every small act of kindness can have a huge impact for good in the lives of others

First Presidency Christmas Devotional
The First Presidency invites Church members and their friends to participate in the First Presidency’s Christmas devotional broadcast on December 2, 2018 (Sunday) at 6:00 p.m. mountain standard time.
The program, originating from the Conference Center, will include Christmas messages by General Authorities and General Officers of the Church.
The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will provide the music {Click on this link for more information}

our new meeting time will be from 12:00 - 2:00 pm
The Paradise Foothills YSA ward will be moving to the building at 1835 East Missouri. The YSA ward also has a new Bishopric. Please contact Bishop Kevin Lythgoe with any questions 602-395-3990
We will be welcoming Granite Reef Ward to our Building in January and will be making room for them.

Jeremy Wilson of the Shadow Mountain Ward has been called to serve in the Colombia Bogota North Mission. He will report to the Colombia MTC on January 2, 2019. He will speak in the Shadow Mountain Ward on Sunday, December 9th at 9:00 am.
