Grace :
Thomas Mertons Prayer
My Lord God,
I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
nor do I really know myself,
and the fact that I think I am following your will
does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please you
does in fact please you.
And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing.
I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire.
And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road,
though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore will I trust you always though
I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death.
I will not fear, for you are ever with me,
and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.

The Savior taught His disciples, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”

"I believe the Savior is telling us that unless we lose ourselves in service to others, there is little purpose to our own lives. Those who live only for themselves eventually shrivel up and figuratively lose their lives, while those who lose themselves in service to others grow and flourish—and in effect save their lives." President Monson

Ask yourself “who needs me today”
Special Musical Number - Violin / Cello Duet -Sophia Packard and Jeremy Wilson “A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief” accompanied by Pam Jones

Josh Harrison:

There are no rules when it comes to serving those around us. Find ways to reach people in ways that meet the needs of those around us.

Through small and simple things we can touch many lives

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well
 ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another
~ Charles Dickens

The Harrison's are moving  to Utah this week.
We have been truly blessed by having them in our ward.
We wish you the best of luck and know that you will be missed

Invite more spiritual power into your life by combining family history with the blessings of the temple. Elder Dale G. Renlund has promised that those who do will experience protection from temptation and receive personal power to change, repent, learn, become more holy, and help turn the hearts of family members to “heal that which needs healing.”
