Paradise Valley Stake Conference February 17 - 18
What a wonderful weekend we have all experienced as we have been taught by
Elder Joaquin E. Costa, General Authority Seventy
 and
Elder Leonard D. Greer of the Seventy

Saturday Evening Session

President Steve Fuller reminded us all to be a "Bringer of Light"
he shared a message from President Russell M Nelson & Sister
"Much of the major growth that is coming to the Church in the last days will come because many of the good women of the world … will be drawn to the Church in large numbers. This will happen to the degree that the women of the Church reflect righteousness and articulateness in their lives and to the degree that the women of the Church are seen as distinct and different—in happy ways—from the women of the world.” . . . . "we need women who know how to make important things happen by their faith and who are courageous defenders of morality and families in a sin-sick world. We need women who are devoted to shepherding God’s children along the covenant path toward exaltation; women who know how to receive personal revelation, who understand the power and peace of the temple endowment; women who know how to call upon the powers of heaven to protect and strengthen children and families; women who teach fearlessly."
"The prophets are calling on us, my sisters. Will you be righteous? Will you articulate your faith? Will you turn on your light?"

We were then privileged to hear from

President and Sister Robinson of the Arizona Scottsdale Mission

Sister Robinson reminded us that we can still let our light shine despite of challenges, trials and adversities.

President Robinson reminded us of the power of the Book of Mormon and President Monsons final message to the members of the Church
Elder Greer shared the message of "when we understand the why then it will be easier to understand the how"

The concluding speaker for the Saturday Evening Session was Elder Joaquin E. Costa.
Elder Costa had 2 important messages. He reminded us to keep the Sabbath Day Holy.

Elder Costa also called a panel of 3 to the stand - Sister Sydney Wright, Sister Mylie Dahl and Brother Clayton Tunney. They discussed and highlighted the new Strengthening Marriage & Strengthening the Family Resource Guides.
