Phoenix Area 3rd Sunday Mid-Singles (28-45) Fireside, Nov. 19th, 7:00 PM at the Mesa Alma Stake Javelina Building, 2300 W. Javelina, Mesa. Jonathan Zweifel, 2nd Counselor in the Mesa Alma Stake Presidency, will speak on the timely topic of “Faith Over Fear.” He was born and raised in a small farming community in southern Oregon and attended a small branch with only thirty members as a youth. Married with four children, he can speak Russian and is a graduate of ASU. Refreshments afterward in the cultural hall.
Face to Face event with Elder Dallin H. Oaks and Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Young single adults worldwide are invited to participate in the live event on Sunday, November 19, at 6:00 p.m. mountain standard time.
Stake Temple Recommends - Sunday, Nov 26th-4:00 pm
YM/YW Gingerbread Wars - Wednesday, Nov 29th - 7:00 pm at the Stake Center. Gingerbread Wars Activity is for Priests/Laurels AND Teachers/Mia Maids.
Stake Primary Cookie Exchange - Friday, December 1 - 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The Stake Primary Presidency is hosting a Cookie Exchange for all Moms of the Stake. Mark your calendar for the date.
First Presidency Christmas Devotional - Sunday, December 3rd - All members are invited to view the devotional. It will be available at the Stake Center, on BYUtv, LDS.org, or the Mormon Channel.
Young Women In Excellence - Wednesday December 6th - 7pm - All ward members are invited to attend this open house style activity. Please come and view the wonderful displays set up by the Young Women in our ward.
Mountain View Ward Christmas Party - Saturday December 9th - 6pm
A Sacred Christmas Fireside - Sunday, December 17th - 7:00 pm at the Stake Center. The Paradise Valley Stake is sponsoring this multimedia musical Christmas fireside featuring Garth Smith and other special guest musicians. Invite your friends and family to join us. MISSIONARY UPDATE
• Zachary Harper of the Granite Reef Ward has been called to serve in the Alaska Anchorage Mission. He will report to the MTC on November 15th.
• Kira Gedris of the Granite Reef Ward has been called to serve in the Finland Helsinki Mission. She will report to the MTC on December 6th.
Robert & Marilyn LLewellyn of the Shadow Mountain Ward have been called to serve in the Maryland Baltimore Mission. They will report to the MTC on April 16, 2018. They will serve for 18 months.
