We learned to recognize our blessings through our trials. We learned that it is scientific proof that those who are grateful and recognize their blessings are the happiest.
And we learned that one of the greatest forms of

For those who would like to assist with the delivery of the gifts to our refugee families, please sign the attached form and email it to Annaliese.Pickett@rescue.
Gift wrapping will occur at 7:00 PM this Wednesday, November 29, at the home of Teri Nielsen (11830 N. 54 St.) and in the Primary room at church. If you have gift bags or ribbon you would like to contribute, please bring some!
Deliveries will be made this Saturday, December 2,
at the following times if you're interested in joining:

Stake Primary Cookie Exchange - Friday, December 1 - 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The Stake Primary Presidency is hosting a Cookie Exchange for all Moms of the Stake. Mark your calendar for the date.
Primary Activity-Gingerbread houses. Saturday Dec, 2nd 10:00am. Primary room. Stake building. Please remind the children to bring bag of candy to share. It will be so fun!
First Presidency Christmas Devotional - Sunday, December 3rd - All members are invited to view the devotional. It will be available at the Stake Center, on BYUtv, LDS.org, or the Mormon Channel.

MISSIONARY UPDATE
CONGRATULATIONS TO DALE INMAN
he received his mission call to the Washington Federal Way Mission
and reports on January 3rd to the MTC.
Kira Gedris of the Granite Reef Ward has been called to serve in the Finland Helsinki Mission. She will report to the MTC on December 6th.
Robert & Marilyn Llewellyn of the Shadow Mountain Ward have been called to serve in the Maryland Baltimore Mission. They will report to the MTC on April 16, 2018. They will serve for 18 months.
John and Carole Blood of the Desert Ridge Ward have been called to serve as Nauvoo Illinois Temple missionaries. They will begin their mission on April 27, 2018.
