Tucson Temple Dedication
The Tucson Arizona Temple will be dedicated in three sessions at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2017. All sessions will be broadcast at the Stake Center. To enable the Saints to participate in the temple dedication and to place appropriate focus on this sacred event, the three-hour block meetings will be canceled.
Members are welcome to attend one or all sessions.
All sessions will be broadcast live and have different speakers and choirs.
Members should be in their seats 30 minutes before each session.
All who attend should have a clean, white handkerchief to participate in the Hosanna Shout.
All other block meetings on this date are to be cancelled.
The stake center, in which the temple dedication will be broadcast, will be treated as an extension of the temple and will therefore be secured to provide a reverent and holy setting. Access to the dedication will only be through the front East main entrance doors.
Members who wish to attend must be:
At least eight years old.
Have been baptized (including those who have been a member less than on year).
Temple worthy.
For access to the dedication each member will need to show either:
A dedication broadcast recommend (signed by a member of the bishopric).
A current temple recommend. Or a limited use recommend.
Announcements
Mountain View Ward Talent Show this Saturday, Aug 19, 6pm-9pm.
If you have a talent that you want to share, or show, and you haven't spoken with Richard Muhn. Please give him a call so that he can get you on the Program. Richard says that we are really lacking in Display Talents. Have you built something, created something, please call Richard and let him know so that we can have enough display tables to exhibit your talent. If you haven't spoke to Richard about your act, please call him and let him know what you need.
If you don't have a talent you want to share, come support the many talented people in our ward that are brave enough to show them. It is going to be a lot of fun!
