RS CLOTHING DRIVE FOR THE REFUGEE'S

May 9, 2017

USED CLOTHES WANTED!
We will be doing a clothing and shoe drive to donate to the refugees. 
On May 9th we will gather all that's collected and sort the clothing as part of our activity. If you'd like to drop of your donation before the 9th you can take it to the home of any member of the RS presidency.
UPDATE: This is for ALL types and sizes of men, women, and children clothing and shoes. Thanks!




UPCOMING EAGLE SCOUT PROJECTS

May 20, 2017 - Liam Matthews Eagle Scout Project
June 3, 2017 - Carsten Ellsworth Eagle Scout Project
Liam and Carsten will both be working on improving a marsh habitat for fish breeding at the Audubon Preserve located at 3131 S. Central 



Monthly Teachers Council
Everyone who teaches in ANY capacity should attend
Date: May 14th
2nd hour topic: Using music stories and art to teach doctorine.
3rd hour topic: Electronic usage to aid in lesson planning

(Please note those that attend third hour should go directly to the high council room instead of opening exercises to maximize discussion time.)

WARD CHOIR PRACTICE 
Choir will practice Sundays at 2:30


 May Missionary Dinner sign up is available

Sacrament Meeting

Robert Inman was one of our Youth Speakers and he spoke on the topic of Friendship



Lexi Nickel was the other Youth Speaker and she Spoke on the topic of the Atonement

Elder Ebisch played a beautiful piano piece
"Master the Tempest is Raging"


Sister Faustina Tolosa spoke about her mission to Italy 
and the wonderful experiences she had while serving.
She referred to the scripture 1 Nephi 4:6 
and the influence this scripture had on her during her mission

Thank you Sister Tolosa for your beautiful Testimony and loving service

We are thrilled to have you with us
