Bishop Jordan Jones

How could the Father tell the world of love and tenderness?
He sent his Son, a newborn babe, with peace and holiness.
How could the Father show the world the pathway we should go?
He sent his Son to walk with men on earth, that we may know.
How could the Father tell the world of sacrifice, of death?
He sent his Son to die for us and rise with living breath.
What does the Father ask of us? What do the scriptures say?
Have faith, have hope, live like his Son, help others on their way.
What does he ask? Live like his Son.

Pres Scott Theobald
Shared his love for our ward, for the Stake Presidency and our newly called Bishopric

Pres Russell Taylor

The best and most clear indicator that we are progressing spiritually and coming unto Christ is the way we treat other people.   ~ Marvin J Ashton
Ward Choir Sang "Consider the Lillies"
Directed by Pam Jones
Accompanied by Barbara Taylor and Dick Anderson

President Quilantan
Encouraged us to strive to become true disciples of Jesus Christ.
Seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost

Luke 22:32 " . . . and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren"

1 Timothy 4:12 ". . . but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

In closing President Quilantan reminded us of the wise council from our Prophet Joseph Smith . . . . "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.

Tiffany saw perfection in her future as a wife, mother, and overachiever. But as checklists grew longer and expectations grew harder to meet, Tiffany felt exhausted and broken. “Who was I if I wasn’t everything I did? How could I have worth while sitting in bed day after day? Who was I as a wife, a mother, and a woman when my body didn’t allow me to do the things that a wife, a mother, and a woman should do? I had a testimony that my Savior’s Atonement was real. I believed His miracles, I believed Him when He said that all things were possible. But in my most broken state, I wasn’t sure how to use His power.” Hear Tiffany tell her story in this Hope Works presentation about how she overcame what she calls “The Perfect Lie.” Hope Works is a series of videos captured at live events where presenters share interesting insights about hope and faith and how it works in their lives. Sacrament Meeting

We had the privilege of hearing from our Relief Society Presidency

Karly Williams - spoke about the Legacy of Relief Society and shared memories of her grandmothers example and service in Relief Society

Kelly Jennings - shared her feeling of being a single sister in Relief Society. She shared about how her life has been blessed and she enjoys the bountiful blessings that come from being a member of the Relief Society.
Kelly also share some very thought provoking thoughts on
 Loneliness
and she reminded us that if live our life in such a way that we seek the companionship of the Holy Ghost we never have feel alone.

Toby Guthrie - Encouraged us with a quote from Elder Jeffrey R Holland

“Don’t give up, boy. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come.”

She reminded us that each and every one of us have the same amount of time in the day. We are each at different stages of life with different demands and responsibilities. Lets choose to spend the time we have to come closer to Christ

Mylie Dahl - expressed her love for all the sisters in our ward and her appreciation for the love and service they give to one another. There are so many silent acts of service being done on a daily basis.

Jeffrey R Holland - “My beloved brothers and sisters, I am not certain just what our experience will be on Judgment Day, but I will be very surprised if at some point in that conversation, God does not ask us exactly what Christ asked Peter: ‘Did you love me?’”

“We need women who are organized and women who can organize. We need women with executive ability who can plan and direct and administer; women who can teach, women who can speak out. …
“We need women with the gift of discernment who can view the trends in the world and detect those that, however popular, are shallow or dangerous.”8
"We need women who know how to make important things happen by their faith and who are courageous defenders of morality and families in a sin-sick world.
"We need women who are devoted to shepherding God’s children along the covenant path toward exaltation; women who know how to receive personal revelation, who understand the power and peace of the temple endowment; women who know how to call upon the powers of heaven to protect and strengthen children and families; women who teach fearlessly." President Russell M. Nelson

true followers of Jesus Christ"

When Cole experienced crippling anxiety for the first time he was nearly 20 years old and didn't know how to cope. With the help of loved ones and professionals, he found peace. Cole grew up as a leader in school and sports. After high school, he left for his full-time missionary service in Argentina with enthusiasm. Soon, however, migraines, sleeplessness, and depression plagued his every day. His local mission leader counseled with him and encouraged him to return home and seek help. It was the second psychologist Cole visited who offered a perspective that changed Cole's life. "Over a series of months, he helped me realize that it's okay to accept what God gives you and to be humble enough to learn what He's trying to teach you," Cole recalls. Through sessions of guided meditation, Cole learned to calm his mind and reconnect with his knowledge of God's love and support. "I learned that sometimes the feeling of God or Jesus Christ in your life is just calm," he says. "It's that type of calmness that can help us see the reality of God's hand in our life. I think God's grace lies in the fact that sometimes he'll break you down to build you up into a person that you've never been before."
